All forms must be completed, signed, and returned to Pillar Cremation in order for cremation to take place. We’ve made these forms available online, so you can complete them at your convenience in the comfort of your own home. It is the responsibility of the family to provide:
- All information required on Pillar Information Sheet
- Fully completed authorization forms and disclosure/disclaimer form
- Payment prior to cremation
If the family is unable to provide these items, and cremation is delayed beyond 48 hours, such failure will result in a sheltering remains charge of $100 per day, or an embalming fee may result at our discretion.
You may set up an information file with Pillar Cremation without cost or obligation, saving your survivors this responsibility.
The choice of minimal service cremation is not for everyone. Before contracting our services, understand that Pillar Cremation is a direct disposition provider, not a funeral home. We do not provide cremations with a viewing. We reserve the right to refuse service if there are issues -- family, legal, geographic, or otherwise -- that require the time and expertise of a professional funeral director. In these instances, a traditional funeral home will be recommended to you. Unlike memorial societies, there are no membership fees charged to access our services. If a family decides to change funeral providers after the remains have been transported to our facility, a removal charge of $345 will apply. All payments are required at time of service.
Transportation of remains will take place under the auspices of Marysville Funeral Home, its staff and authorized representatives. Temporary shelter of remains may occur at any properly licensed funeral home, hospital or crematory facility.

You may also return completed forms to Pillar Cremation by mail or delivery, or by scanning the completed forms and emailing them to us. Please call first to arrange delivery or pick-up of forms. Please do not leave forms at the funeral home unless instructed by Pillar Cremation to do so.
